Sk-II miracle water

Everybody knows Sk-II expensive, but still it's famous!

Recently, I come across a website regarding Sk-II Christmas package, seems worthy to buy.

So I went to a Sk-II counter, ask about it. After some detailed explanation from the promoter, I bought a 75ml facial treatment essence (miracle water). After all, they are famous for this miracle water only ma. RM187 for a 75ml miracle water is really expensive for me, but I just want to give it a try, may be I'll get a better skin with it?

My small small office is on the way

Yeah! Finally I could sit inside a office (with air-con)! lol

I used to sit inside hubby's shop to stay guard of incoming customers. But the weather's so unpredictable, sometimes cool, sometimes hot and since it's in open air, heavy dust will cover my table every day! It's great to have myself sit in a office!

Air-con will be install today - an old air-con from our house, the ceiling fan will be relocate, and the partition board will be fix on Thursday.

We will also change our display racks, having a minor change in the shop!

In the coming time, we will do some changes bit by bit, determining to renew and refresh the shop. Nowadays, changes must be made to survive. We ourselves as a customer, would rather pay more to sit in a clean and comfortable cafe, than sitting in a old and "not-so-clean" kopitiam, right?

My Digital SLR

Nikon D3000 - my new camera!

Hubby bought me a DSLR as a gift... erm for my pregnant Christmas gift - an early gift! I have been dreaming for it long long time ago. And now my wish comes true!

When hubby and I went to Australia, we saw many tourists holding a DSLR, even girls are holding one! We are wondering what's so great about this "big thing"?

So we try to find out when we are back in Malaysia. What's the different between our small digital compact camera with the Digital SLR?

When we were in Gold Coast, I tried to snap a picture at the night market and got scolded, all because my camera's flash light which caught the stall's owner attention! When it comes to a DSLR, it need not a flash light on at night, just increase the ISO will do, so not easy to be discover when we were to snap photos at night!

Look at the picture below, with a DSLR, we can show the movement nicely where our small camera cannot.

Picture with movement

Aperture has a big impact upon depth of field. Large aperture will decrease depth of field while small aperture will give you larger depth of field. Adjustment of the aperture will give us the below effect.

Pictures with different aperture

There are many functions hidden in this Digital SLR camera. I'm still on my way discovering!

Why human beings get sick, grow old and die?

Got a death news of a 70-year-old man, whom pass away while sleeping on yesterday morning. The news came too sudden, as if struck by lightning. Hubby and I can't even finished our breakfast on that morning.

I wonder why human beings needs to get through the path of getting sick, grow old and die? I told hubby why not we stop producing? We give birth to a little child, and the child grow up, get sick, grow old and die eventually. So why we give birth? If we don't give birth, then the child won't have to suffer from sickness and death!

It is understood that Mother Nature keeps the population balanced that way. The Earth can only support so many people. There is some kind of natural need for new people instead of the same ones living forever.

According to Bible, it is because of sin. When Adam and Eve sinned against God in the Garden of Eden, their sin brought sickness and death into the world. If sin had not entered into the world, mankind would be living for a long time.

In the book of Romans it says "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Human being is a living spirit, got a soul and live in a mortal body. Our body will die, but our spirit will never die.

Death is inevitable. So we have to live everyday as if it's our last day, enjoy ourselves and live our life to the fullest.

Ipoh road resurface???

The road in front of our shop was being resurfaced yesterday. Fyi, the road in front of our shop is still in good condition without bumps or holes! Anyway, it's something to be happy, right?

However, do you normally see "road resurface" being done in the daylight? Shouldn't it be done at night??? Try imagine the traffic and the SMELL of the asphalt!!!

The SMELL is really unbearable, I'm having stuffy nose since then! Now cough joins in too! Making me eating everything tasteless! *sigh*

I noticed that Ipoh is now having a "road resurface" revolution. But mainly to "main road" not "small lane". Road resurface supposedly a good deed to us, but please do this in the night time. We need not see the progress of road resurfacing to acknowledge the work done!!!

Chocolate walnut cookies

Yup, chocolate walnut cookies. We made chocolate walnut cookies on the past Sunday.

I saw Claire's post about chocolate walnut cookies, made me mouth-watering. So I go buy this buy that to made my own chocolate walnut cookies! It's easily made, but my mini oven made the baking time long - I have to separate many times for them to bake into shape. Every tray took 20 minutes. I think we have made around 8 trays. 20 minutes times 8 equals to 160 minutes!!!

Anyway the final outcomes are delicious! I think I would bake some more before CNY (save some money buying cookies from others!). LOL.

Marcus also want to take photo with his toy camera!

New clothe for my blog!

I felt bored with the dark black background for my blog already! It looks so dull and lifeless though it's decorated with green leaves. So I change my blog a brand new dress, a pinky dress! I feel young again!

How is it? Do you like it?

Highway traffic jam

Hubby and I went Butterworth meeting up with a friend on the past Sunday. From Ipoh to Butterworth, it supposed to take around 2 hours. But we took extra half an hour on the way, because of a lorry! The lorry happened to turn all the small rocks out accidentally (I suppose!). The rocks covered the whole road until the police had to stop all the cars to clean up the road. Thus, we are stuck inside our car for half an hour in the middle of a highway!

Came to a halt on the highway to Butterworth.

See the long queue?

A police taking care of the traffic while the tractor removing the rocks.

This is the lorry that cause the mess!

Kids having fun

Nowadays, the kids love hubby a lot, they often follow us into our room. So hubby took my camera snapping photos with them. And kids are so used to the camera these days, they'll make many poses for hubby to snap. LOL!

My father in law always says "How happy is it to have some children around, hor?" Can you get what he means? *sigh! We are trying our best on this already!!! We are waiting for it to happen!!!
