I'm not sure whether this is a economic down-turn effect, but within these few weeks. Our shop often had quite a lot strangers coming in, what I mean is those coming in with no good intention!
Some of them claimed "no money for lunch", others claimed "no money to pay bus fare", and even some looks very likely are from charity society with photos and brochures!
Most of them come at lunch time, when everyone gone for lunch. Almost most of them making a u-turn back to our shop after walking pass (to observe), making sure only one of us is in the shop.
The most "memorable" case is: One day, when a man walked pass, saw only my FIL doing his job inside our shop. He make a u-turn, came into our shop. Then only he noticed that hubby is there sitting behind of a column doing other things and I was sitting in front of my laptop behind the wall. He then simply find "something" to ask for. He asked for a 1 inch sponge, cut in to a square shape (just like the one he saw beside the table). Then he paid RM3.50. And he said he don't want that sponge, give it back to us! But the thing is HE PAID AND TAKE NOTHING! And he walked quickly rushing away. The whole scene only took about 3 minutes!!!
Beware, my friends! These are the way "some" people acting to earn some extra money in these days!
